The pot was thrown on the wheel of white clay. It is not glazed, but placed in a container (saggar) with various colorants and combustible materials, giving a lovely combination of reddish brown and blue.. Wax was applied to the exterior to give a soft sheen. It measures about 5 by 4.5 inches.
Note the pot will leak and is intended for decorative use only.
