The pot was thrown on the wheel of white clay. It is not glazed, but placed in a container (saggar) with various colorants and combustible materials, giving a lovely combination of reddish brown, blue and bits of green. Wax was applied to the exterior to give a soft sheen. It measures about 3.5 by 3.5 inches.
Note the pot will leak and is intended for decorative use only.
